This was the most perfect September day, the weather was divine.
I met the girls at Profiles salon on Front street. While some were getting ready I popped over the the Father Marquette Shrine and took pictures of the amazing bouquets put together by a bridesmaid.
We headed for the church to get dressed and for Geoff and Brianne to do a first look. They had a great ceremony at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Brianne’s son Cam, walked her down the aisle and assisted in the unity candle ceremony. Geoff and Brianne created and blended a great little family with Cam and his new baby brother Jaxson.
After the ceremony the group headed to take pictures. The ore dock, McCarty’s cove, black rocks, Washington street and the Ore Dock Brewery were on the list of places they wanted to go. They were such a fun group and their integration of the groom’s love for the avengers was perfect.
The reception at the Holiday Inn was full of fun. The cake was half avengers and Geoff was thrilled with the outcome. Their first dances were some of the best I’ve seen. Geoff’s mom brought out his favorite stuffed animal from when he was a child and the dance between Cam and Brianne still gets me choked up. After groomsman Keven sang the couple a song while they danced.
This family was so fun to be around and I wish them all the best while they continue their journey as husband and wife!
